Benchmark E3 cycle 7 section

Massanutten employees spend the day working alongside local nonprofits across the Shenandoah Valley. Teams take on hands-on projects that make a difference for the people and organizations who help our community thrive.

Recent partners include:

  • First Step Shelter
  • Elkton Area United Services Store and Food Pantry
  • Jones Gardens
  • Harrisonburg/Rockingham County SPCA
  • Page One

Our commitment doesn’t end there. Full time employees also receive a certain amount of paid volunteer time, to give back to the local causes that matter the most to them

Resort Clean-Up Days

Taking care of the resort is a year-round effort. During Resort-Wide Cleanup Days, employee volunteers work together across the property to collect litter and help keep Massanutten clean and welcoming for guests, owners, and the community. A single cleanup day can remove as many as 25 bags of trash.
