Ski Lessons
Learn to ski or snowboard with expert instruction, beginner-focused support, and a mountain made for building confidence. From kids’ first lessons to adults trying something new, Massanutten helps every skier and rider find their footing on the mountain.

Find lesson options for new skiers and snowboarders, kids ready for their first turns, and guests who want more focused instruction. Availability can vary by date, age, ability level, and lesson type, so review current options before you arrive.

Get more personalized instruction with one-on-one support or a private lesson for your small group. Private lessons are ideal for guests who want focused coaching, extra confidence, or help reaching specific goals.

Theo’s Cub Club gives kids ages 7 to 12 a fun, supportive place to learn on the mountain. Through group instruction, young skiers and riders can build skills, gain confidence and enjoy more time on the snow at a comfortable pace.

It is never too late to learn. Adult beginner lessons help new skiers and snowboarders get comfortable with the basics, build confidence, and enjoy their first day on the mountain.
First ski and snowboard days are easier and more fun with a little help. The Beginner’s Guide walks through what to expect, what to wear, how lessons work, and how to feel more prepared before you arrive.

A little planning can make lesson day smooth from the start. Check when to arrive, where to go, what to wear, how rentals work, and what your skier or rider may need before stepping onto the snow.
Lesson Waivers All guests will be required to complete a waiver prior to their lesson. Each guest aged 18 and older must complete their own waiver. Minors under age 18 will need to have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian.
