Skiing & Snowboarding

Make the most of winter on 83 skiable acres, with 23 runs, 7 lifts, and a summit elevation of 2,922 feet. For more than 50 years, Massanutten has been one of Virginia’s top mountain ski resorts and one of the best ski resorts near D.C.

Indoor Waterpark

Step out of the cold and into 84-degree Waterpark fun, with surf simulators, lazy river, slides, hot tubs, and plenty of room to splash around. Sometimes the best cure for chilly toes is a warm swim!

Snow Tubing

Fly down 16 lanes on a 900-foot tubing hill, then ride the conveyor lift back up for another round. Come back after dark for Northern Lights Snow Tubing, when neon lights and music turn late-night tubing into one of Massanutten’s brightest winter adventures.

Ski Lessons

Learn with PSIA- and AASI-certified instructors in lessons designed for a range of ages and ability levels. First-timers, kids, groups, and private learners can all find a way onto the slopes. A Massanutten Resort ski adventure is the perfect place to begin.

Elevations Lounge on the second floor of the Ski Lodge, Saturday Comedy Club, and Base Camp's fire pit patio make for a great adventure’s end.

Find Your Winter Stay.

Mountain lodging puts you close to the ski area, Campfire Grill, and the Massanutten Resort Ski Lodge, while Valley lodging keeps you near the Indoor Waterpark, and year-round resort activities. Wherever you stay, you’ll be well-positioned to enjoy the best the resort has to offer.

Trip Tips

Snow tubing sessions can sell out three weeks in advance. Buy tickets online in advance to secure your spot.

If possible, pick up any rental gear the night before, or plan to arrive early on the day-of.

Arrive 60 minutes before your ski or snowboard lesson at the Learning Center Check-In Desk.

Snow tubing sessions start & end at your selected session time. Please arrive 30 minutes before your session at the Family Adventure Park to print your tickets & get your tubes to ensure you use your full time.

The Indoor Waterpark is open year-round, including during ski season.
