Your 3-Day Winter Adventure

Day 1

Afternoon/evening arrival: Night snow tubing

Welcome to Massanutten! Once you’ve checked in and settled into your accommodations, bundle up and jump right into winter with night tubing. Race each other down 900 feet of illuminated, snow-covered lanes, link up for a run together, then let the conveyor lift carry you back to the top for run after run.

Dinner: Campfire Grill

Warm up afterward at Campfire Grill with wood-fired pizza, burgers, steaks, and other hearty favorites. Try one of the restaurant’s signature dishes, like the skillet-baked cornbread, to share before settling in for the evening.

Day 2

Morning headline activity: Skiing & snowboarding

Start the morning with a warm waffle breakfast at Waffle Hut near Base Camp, then head to the slopes for a full day of skiing or snowboarding. Cruise easier terrain together, seek out more challenging runs, or split up for a bit if your skill levels differ before meeting back on the mountain.

Afternoon: Continue skiing & snowboarding

Stay on the mountain for the afternoon and make the most of your ski day. When you’re ready for lunch, ski up to Mid-Mountain Grill for a break right on the slopes, or head down to Base Camp for casual fare with a view of the ski action. Then spend the rest of the afternoon revisiting favorite runs or exploring more of the mountain together.

Evening: Après + live entertainment

When the lifts wind down, head to Base Camp for après drinks and dinner while the last of the ski action wraps up around you. If your stay includes a Friday night, make time for the Torch Parade, when skiers carrying glowing torches make their way down the slopes after dark. You can also check the resort event calendar for weekend live music, comedy shows, and other seasonal events.

Day 3

Morning before checkout: Skiing / Snowboarding or Mountain Coaster

After checking out, squeeze in one last winter adventure before heading home. Hit the slopes for a few final runs together, or take a ride on the Mountain Mayhem Mountain Coaster for one more rush down the mountain before starting the drive home.
