Day 1

Afternoon arrival: Massanutten Village Family Entertainment Center

Welcome to Massanutten! Once you’ve checked in and settled into your accommodations, ease into vacation mode with an afternoon at the Massanutten Village Family Entertainment Center. Challenge the family to a round of mini golf, take a spin in the bumper cars, or add a little friendly competition with go karts and other classic summer fun.

Dinner: Campfire Grill

Settle in at Campfire Grill for wood-fired pizza, burgers, steaks, and other hearty favorites. If the weather is nice, grab a seat outside by the fire on the deck and enjoy your first summer evening on the mountain.

Day 2

Full Waterpark day: Indoor & Outdoor Waterpark + Diamond Jim’s Arcade

Make your full day all about the Waterpark! Spend the morning moving between the indoor attractions and the outdoor slides, wave pool, and other summertime favorites.

When everyone gets hungry, stay right inside for a sit-down lunch at Splash’s or something quick from the Snack Shack, then make a stop at Sweetz for a treat. Before leaving the Waterpark, keep the fun going with a few games at Diamond Jim’s Arcade.

Evening: Base Camp + resort entertainment

Settle in at Base Camp for casual mountain fare and a relaxed summer dinner with views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, check the resort event calendar to see what’s happening during your stay, whether that’s live music, comedy, or another family-friendly summer event.

Day 3

Morning before checkout: Fishing at Painter’s Pond

Spend your final morning by the water at Painter’s Pond and cast a few lines together while enjoying the green summer mountain scenery. After checking out, if your route takes you through Harrisonburg, stop for lunch at a local favorite like Magpie Diner or Bella Luna Wood-Fired Pizza and stretch the getaway a little longer before the drive home.
